Plans and pricing FAQ
Questions about Code credits, per-member limits, model access, payments and subscriptions.
Questions
Does the Free plan require a credit card?
No. Most customers qualify by linking a GitHub account that is at least 30 days old. You can also qualify through an invite or access granted directly by Autohand. Adding a card is an optional verification method if no other option applies. Your card is not charged, and no subscription is created.
What counts toward my credit and request limits?
One credit counts one successful hosted model response. A request rejected before model work begins does not use a credit. Credit allowances, requests per minute, and input/output token rate limits are separate controls. Model context length is a model property, not a subscription allowance.
What happens when I reach a limit?
The client identifies the limit. The console shows reset times and available plan changes. You can wait for capacity or use your own provider key.
Do the 5-hour and weekly windows reset at the same time?
The rolling 5-hour allowance and longer daily, weekly or monthly limits apply together. Free has a monthly credit cap; paid plans have weekly caps. The console shows the next reset time for each applicable limit. Unused credits do not carry into the next period.
Does API usage count toward my Autohand Code limits?
Hosted models share your plan allowance across Desktop, CLI, web, mobile, editor integrations, SDK and API. Switching models does not create a new allowance. Team and Enterprise credit limits are independent per member, not pooled. BYOK and local model requests do not consume Autohand credits.
Which models are included with each plan?
Free includes Fantail. Lite adds GPT-5.6 Luna, DeepSeek V4 Flash and Weka through API/Console. Pro adds Moa and GPT-6 Sol. Pro+, Max, Team and Enterprise also include Grok 4.7 and qwen3.8-27b. See Available models for the full comparison.
How are Team and Enterprise limits shared?
Hosted models share your plan allowance across Desktop, CLI, web, mobile, editor integrations, SDK and API. Switching models does not create a new allowance. Team and Enterprise credit limits are independent per member, not pooled. BYOK and local model requests do not consume Autohand credits. Cloud sandboxes are temporary Cloudflare environments for running coding agents remotely. Export your changes before a workspace expires. Team sandbox capacity is shared across the account, while model credit limits remain independent per member.
Which payment methods do you accept?
Card payments are accepted for all self-serve plans: Lite, Pro, Pro+, Max, and Team. Enterprise customers can arrange invoicing on 30-day payment terms by contacting the Autohand sales team at [email protected].
Are taxes included in the listed price?
No. Prices listed on the Autohand website exclude applicable taxes. Taxes may be added at checkout based on your location.
Can I change my billing currency?
You cannot change the currency of an active subscription. To use another currency, cancel your current subscription and resubscribe after the billing period ends. The price of your new subscription will be based on the pricing and conversion rate offered at checkout at that time.
What happens if my payment fails?
Your subscription enters a 14-day grace period, during which your paid-plan limits remain available. The console provides an option to update your payment method. If the payment is not resolved within 14 days, your account moves to Free plan limits. Your data is not deleted.
Do you offer refunds?
Subscription payments are non-refundable. You can cancel at any time from Billing in the console, and your paid-plan limits remain available until the end of your current billing period. This policy does not affect any rights available under applicable consumer law. See See [Autohand policies](https://autohand.ai/policies/) for the governing Terms of Service.
What happens when I cancel?
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Your paid-plan limits remain available until that date, which is shown in the console after you cancel. After the billing period ends, your account moves to Free plan limits. Your data is not deleted, and you can resubscribe at any time.
When does an upgrade take effect?
Upgrades are typically reflected within about one minute. You do not need to create a new API key, restart your client, or change your setup.
