# Pricing and limits

Autohand manages your subscription and plan limits separately. This means plan changes take effect automatically (usually within one minute) without requiring a new API key or setup changes.

## Billing and entitlements

Your subscription selects model permissions and limits enforced by the API.

## Shared usage

Hosted models share your plan's credit allowance, rate limits, and token budgets. Switching models does not reset usage or create a separate allowance. Team and Enterprise usage counts against the authenticated member's quota. BYOK requests use the external provider's billing.

Quota is reserved before provider dispatch, then reconciled against reported usage. Missing usage retains the reservation.

Team and Enterprise figures apply per member. Enterprise agreements may specify custom capacity. Checkout confirms billing interval, currency and taxes. See [Available models](https://docs.autohand.ai/getting-started/plans-and-pricing/available-models).

## Failed payments

If a payment fails, your subscription enters a **14 days** grace period. Your paid plan limits remain available during this time, and the console provides an option to update your payment method. If the payment is not resolved within 14 days, your account moves to Free plan limited. Your data is not deleted.
